Thailand
Thailand ratified the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control on November 8, 2004. In 2005, the Thai research team at Mahidol University Salaya and the Malaysian research team at Universiti Sains Malaysia partnered with the ITC Project to establish the ITC Southeast Asia Project. Six waves of ITC Thailand (TH) Survey were conducted in Thailand among a cohort of adult smokers aged 18 and older and youth aged 13 to 17.
