Vicki has a Masters' degree in Health Psychology from Kings' College London, and a Ph.D. in Public Health from Tel Aviv University. She teaches at Tel Aviv University and conducts research at the Gertner Institute for Epidemiology & Health Policy Research.

Vicki has been involved in research on parental perceptions of exposure to tobacco smoke, and development of messages and pack inserts to help smokers quit, as well as other areas of health promotion and health equity; and helped run Project Zero Exposure in Israel, an intervention with smoking parents.
