Dr. Sungkyu Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of Korea Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education (KCTCRE) and an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Public Health, Yonsei University. Dr. Lee is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Korean Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco. He was the former Executive Director in the National Tobacco Control Center, Korean Health Promotion Institute. Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. in Public Health Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. After his doctoral degree, he worked with Professor Stanton Glantz as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education (CTCRE) at the University of California, San Francisco. His main research area is tobacco control and tobacco industry interference. Dr. Lee is a key and active consultant in the field of tobacco control in the Republic of Korea and the World Health Organization.
