Former Co-Principal Investigator (ITC MY Survey), ITC Malaysia

Rahmat Awang, Pharm. D., was the Co-Principal of the ITC Malaysia Survey from 2003 to 2018. He was also the Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Information designated to the National Poison Centre, the Head of the Innovation Office at Universiti Sains Malaysia, the Chair of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, Technical Working Group (FCTC TWG) of the Malaysian Ministry of Health. He was a Core Member of the Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA) and the representative for the Malaysia country in the Alliance regional meetings involving the ASEAN nations.
