Nicolas joined Verian (formerly Kantar Public) at the end of 2006. He is an expert in multi-country research and has led major international research projects for prestigious EU institutions for many years. In his role of Senior Director, he advises a range of international clients on political and social research projects. He is responsible for the management of Eurobarometer surveys for the European Commission and the European Parliament. He holds a master’s degree in Political Sciences from “Sciences Po Bordeaux” (graduated in 2006) and a master’s degree in History from “University La Sorbonne – Paris” (graduated in 2004). He is a French national and speaks English fluently. He also speaks Spanish.
Prior to joining Verian (formerly Kantar Public) in Brussels, Nicolas completed a traineeship the European Commission in the Directorate General for Communication where he worked in the unit responsible for political reporting in 2006.
He has more than 16 years of experience in both qualitative and quantitative opinion research with a focus on international surveys. He has been responsible for the management of the Special Eurobarometer surveys on Tobacco on the account of DG SANTE (European Commission) for more than 10 years (EB Special Tobacco 2009, 2012, 2014, 2017 and 2020). He also heads the Verian International election team specialized in worldwide election research.
