My research leverages multidisciplinary expertise in behavioral economics, medicine, computer science, biostatistics, and cognitive psychology to understand how delay, uncertainty, and effort influence health-related decision-making. Within this framework, our goal is to develop and test novel behavioral and policy interventions to improve public health. Current areas of focus include tobacco cessation and harm reduction, and the prevention and treatment of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
