Cristina de Abreu Perez earned her Masters of Policy and Management Science, Technology and Innovation in Health in 2013 and has finished her PHD in Public Health, both at Oswaldo Cruz Foundation/Minister of Health.

Cristina is consultant of National Commission for the Implementation of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control/ Minister of Health. Cristina joined the ITC Project as Principal Investigator for the ITC Brazil Survey in 2008. Her research interests lie in tobacco control, specifically in health warnings and public health.
