Changbao obtained his PhD in statistics in August 1999 from Simon Fraser University. He has been a faculty member at Waterloo since September 1999. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA) and of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS), an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI), and the 2012 recipient of CRM-SSC Prize in Statistics. He is currently an Associate Editor of Survey Methodology (since 2006) and a member of Statistics Canada’s Advisory Committee on Statistical Methods (since 2015).
