Eunice Indome

Research Scientist, ITC Project, University of Waterloo, Canada

Eunice is a Research Scientist with the ITC Project dissemination team. She holds a Ph.D in Structural Engineering from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne Australia, and an M.Sc. in Public Health from the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo. Her recent Masters research focused on the individual and contextual factors affecting older adults with concurrent problematic alcohol use and mental health issues in Ontario.

Prior to joining the ITC Project, Eunice was a researcher with the School of Public Health and Health Systems. She was part of the InterRAI Canada team that conducted data analysis and GIS mapping, to study the impacts of substance use and mental health disorders, using data from the Ontario Mental Health Reporting System (OMHRS). She is also a member of the alcohol working group that recently released (January 2020) the CCSMH Guidelines, which is the first-ever national clinical guidelines on substance use disorders for older adults in Canada.
